The Beaumont Mezzanine
A mezzanine to provide space
This loft needed a mezzanine to house an office space for an at-home graphic design studio. Anchored to the existing steel structure, this “airborne” addition has virtually no impact on the floor surface below. Because of the location’s dimensions, the new workspace has ample clearance, both overhead and below. Access is via a staircase that avoids hindering daylight from the huge windows and doubles as a storage unit for large format works. La Firme collaborated on this project with Dennis Baril of Atelier B.
